To say you need a thick skin to survive on the product development side is an understatement. There are no company values at CorpTax and it shows. Everyone under management level is replaceable and is treated as such. There are no designers and the products are hideous. All employee surveys are reviewed by all management, so there is no meaningful truth in them. As for positive reviews on this site, they must be from the marketing/sales side of the house. Are you thinking about a career at CorpTax? Go for it. You have been warned.

Great benefits. Hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 at home) is nice for people who want to switch up the days they go into the office / work from home.

Terrible work-life balance! Overtime is optional, but managers try to guilt-trip you into working OT. The raise they offered was laughable, and I wasn't the only one who was insulted by it. Management is incredibly petty. I also sat through many conversations, started by a leader, surrounding politics and religion. If you're in the annual reports department, it is incredibly difficult to get out. I saw many people try to get into other departments only to be blocked each time. If you're in a satellite office, they will forget about you! They only care about the DE offices.
