If you're lucky to work with him, you'll learn a lot. - GREAT benefits, including profit sharing. Literally, you're enrolled in profit sharing the month you start and can earn extra in your paycheck based on your KPIs. - Constructive feedback given often regarding performance. This is a big pro for me, but obviously this can be preferential. - The company is very profitable and growing quickly. Many promotion opportunities are given to those that work hard.

I will preface this by saying that I worked at Coalition for only two months. My decision to leave was influenced by a few reasons: one personal and the other professional. I moved to Austin (they are starting an office in the BigCommerce offices) for this position, but under the impression that the office was a bit more established. It turned out that we were working on one of the BigCommerce floors in a conference room (me and two others). I had zero issues with the people I worked with and we were encouraged to socialize with BigCommerce, but the majority of the people you work with, including team leads, either work in the L.A. office or work remotely all over the country. It was difficult to socialize with the BigCommerce employees because we were somewhat separate from them and also had a lot of work to do. I'm used to working in a more collaborative, person-to-person environment, so a lot of the reason was preference. I think that if you're used to working remotely and are established in the place you live then it's a great company to work for because it's extremely profitable, great benefits (including profit share), and everyone you speak with is extremely helpful, and super savvy on the industry. Unfortunately, I was not one of those people, which is why I found a different opportunity in Austin. Additional: - Person to person training should be given. The online training, while helpful in terms of being able to find processes, can only do so much. I'm a hands-on learner and I think I would have benefitted from working with someone versus just studying the material. - Processes could use some improvement. Often tasks or quotes were delayed and constant messaging or pinging remote team members was a big sore spot. - Get rid of Time Doctor. I spent more time relaunching it than tracking my time because it crashed on me 5-10 times a day and it slowed up my computer. Trust that your employees are doing the work they say their doing. From what I could tell, everyone I worked with was on top of their work. There was just so much of it, which is why some things were probably delayed/late and why they're hiring a lot.

- Good pay - Team is great - Excellent organization

- Time tracking software is very invasive (screenshots every 5 to 10 min, mouse and keyboard tracking, camera must always be on while on work hours) - KPIs can be too demanding - Workload can be too heavy (I was managing around 15 accounts at one point)
