You were given several written and verbal warnings about basic, but significant mistakes in accounting tasks that continued up until you were let go. As a senior, experienced professional in your field, those types of recurring mistakes and an unwillingness to learn from them was what resulted in your dismissal.

For candidates considering working here- we highly value each team member and will invest in your training and support so you can be successful. However, if you don't take feedback and work to meet the standards needed for your role, we will let you go. We think that's common sense and fair. If you don't, probably not the best place for you.
