Great benefits, nice work environment

Corporate office doesn't always understand what we manufacture and the process involved to finish the product.

Excellent opportunity to learn about optics. Some of the employees were great people.

After promising no layoffs, they had a huge layoff December in 2011, then made excuses for it. They didn't even provide the proper equipment for some departments. Most departments were so busy playing the blame game nothing ever got done. Customers weren't happy. Employees were treated like garbage. Getting the proper information needed to do the job was like pulling teeth. Half the info you were given was wrong anyway or changed repeatedly.They had so many computer systems to go through that it took forever just to find simple information as well. The tracking system was outdated and hard to use. Company culture was terrible and you can forget about work-life balance.
