Vantaggi

you will make pretty good money straight out of college.

Svantaggi

Since the day I started here management was very nice. However, as time has passed I learned why they are so nice. Whenever management messes up and they lose an employee they try and cover-up their mistakes with new employees. Covering up their mistakes are even more obvious when talking to employees who have been here long enough to witness everything from start to finish. For example the vice president has been audited by human resources about a few unethical practices and the team as a whole has lost about 1/3 of their original employees and the few employees that stayed were moved up to higher pay positions to stay quiet. Management does not accept feedback from employees so a lot of employees post their feedback via glass door to avoid retaliation. The only time management tries to improve is when these reviews are posted which is very petty in my opinion. However, it is the only thing that really works.

Vantaggi

Peers and teammates are supportive of each other. For a digital organization, the pay was very good but I believe they've significantly reduced salaries. Some of the managers were very good.

Svantaggi

The Caesars Digital team operated in a flat organization, where some GMs were trying to actively manage teams of 75-150 individuals. Career growth is almost non-existent as a result. C-suite management was non-existent and came from finance or hospitality backgrounds. Org success was purely tied to annual EBITDA and without understanding of how a digital/engineering organization should be run, resulting in disconnected employees (most of whom were remote), lack of scalable structure, and zero oversight.
