The right place to work - Recensione dipendente - Software Engineer presso Calima Solutions

The team created a good atmosphere to be around. Offices are modern. I was given a lot of freedom to develop a project in my own area of interest. I believe the team are currently moving into similar offices but within Las Palmas. Living on the island for two months was fantastic.

As there was a lot of movement in the team at the time of the internship, I lacked a bit of guidance at times as many of the developers were busy. I was the only intern for the summer so I was working on an independent project which, although fulfilling, did not expose me to the software development lifecycle that previous interns had experienced. On the whole the internship was good but it was not the experience I was expecting. Internship is unpaid but flights were paid for.

At Calima I was given the opportunity to learn about different skills to improve and develop myself as a better worker. I felt trusted from day 1 and I never lost my motivation. I love how they always see the best in people and work to get the best out of them.

As a start-up, you must fulfill many different roles, but I see this as an opportunity.
