      Unethical owner. Takes advantage of freelancers. Doesn't pay once they have completed the work.

      In late 2013, the company discovered that its longtime accountant was misappropriating company funds and was also not paying contractors, something that the owner immediately addressed. Still attempting to recoup those losses a few years later, the company has been largely run on a cash basis. Therefore, contractors get paid as soon as Calysto gets paid by its clients. The owners viewpoint is that its valued contractors always get paid, even when the company has to take a loss.

      I’m glad to at least have had good coworkers to collaborate with during my time working for Calysto Communications.

      Managers are frustrating to work with! They are terrible at their jobs but refuse to take accountability for their actions. Their number one priority isn’t guiding employees or pushing the company towards success, but looking good in front of people. It’s ridiculous how such arrogant, incompetent, and vain people get to be paid more than employees doing most of the hard work!
