Vantaggi
1) The team members themselves were hardworking and genuinely tried to make things work under very difficult circumstances.
2) The mission had potential, but it was not supported by the company’s execution or leadership.
Svantaggi
Based on my experience, this is not a stable or healthy workplace.
The company appeared to be struggling financially, with ongoing issues around unpaid bills, cash flow uncertainty, and an overall lack of transparency. These challenges were not communicated openly to employees, which created a stressful and uncertain environment.
Contract roles were repeatedly discussed as being converted into full-time employment, but these promises were not honored. Compensation was below market rate, and expectations were not aligned with pay or job security.
Leadership, particularly at the executive level, was a major concern. The CEO frequently micromanaged staff, overpowered discussions, and demonstrated a lack of respect in meetings. Feedback was not welcomed, and employees were not trusted to do their jobs independently. This created a culture of fear rather than collaboration.
There was little sense that employees were valued. Professional boundaries were often crossed, communication was inconsistent, and expectations changed without notice. Morale suffered as a result, and turnover felt inevitable.
