The management is reasonably flexible with schedules/hours. You will never take work home with you. Much of the job is sitting in a room monitoring dogs: in this case, pay reflects effort. They give away cake and lunch once a month to celebrate birthdays/work anniversaries.

Svantaggi

There are many rules that change often. There is no bonus compensation to speak of - overtime is not awarded, time and a half is only offered Christmas Day and Thanksgiving, there is no year end bonus. There is more dog poop than you can ever imagine.

Hanging out with dogs all day is so fun - you meet so many characters! I loved building relationships with dogs that were regulars.
