If you are not japanese forget about it. You will be bullied by managers. You will be given an endless list of tasks to complete and will be expected to work till the crack of dawn without getting paid. All that for nothing as when the evaluation time comes you will always be worse/less professional/motivated/passionate than your japanese colleague who will be praised for their remarkable performance. You will never understand how to progress or be given credit for your efforts. They will drain your energy and quickly replace you with someone new.
