Don't expect much in the way of resources. Many times you'll be looked to to perform your own dev / product work with little support from the "PMO" which most have retired or quit in the last 6 months. "Use it or lose it" budgets means C-Suite will buy things without giving their teams time to understand it fully, and then ask why stuff doesn't work the way it was perceived to. Sales pamphlets are not viable business plans. Some people will thrive in this kind of environment. That wasn't me. I got my first performance review after 18 months (3 weeks late, no less!) and it stated I was "inconsistent" in quality even though every 1:1 I had with management and directors never illustrated an issue. I would not sign it and left afterwards. Expect no support from your manager and if they say they will, they probably won't when C-Suite finds out. Do what you can, build a bit of money, leave before they crash.
