The only people who seemed happy to be there were the ones who had been in the organisation since the Year Dot. I'd be happy to be there too if I had a very generous allotment of holiday and an enormous pay packet. Every month, we'd be treated to the sight of a group of fresh faced young people being shown around the building and we'd mentally make bets on how long they'd stay. Never very long.
