- The Performance Management process is a beat down with forced distributions which means it doesn't matter how hard you work, there is always a risk of being pushed down. Generally, it's managed on a team and then departmental level. So, if the Director has 5 managers and 15% get forced down, that means one of you will be pushed down. (5 * .15 = .75 ...rounding up equals 1 person) - While a "pro" with a great salary, it's also solid golden handcuffs that make it very hard to walk away.
