Working for Capstone Editing is 100% flexible, meaning I can fit my Capstone work around other freelance work, life commitments, holidays, illness, anything at all! The freedom to dictate my own hours is incredibly liberating - this is the best work/life balance I've ever enjoyed. In the years I've worked for Capstone, I've moved from being a trainee editor to one of the senior editors - but not only that, I've been able to get involved in other aspects of the company, from editing specialisation, editor training and learning material production to web development and copywriting. There's always something new to learn and Capstone have encouraged me to participate in professional development of all kinds. Senior management are supportive, respectful and understanding of employees' individual circumstances and needs and do their best to accommodate and support you in any way they can. I've found the kind of support that has been lacking in other previous jobs, which is greatly appreciated. I love feeling like a valued member of the Capstone team.
