Management promoted individuals into leadership roles without the necessary experience or guidance, particularly around people management, setting both the managers and their teams up to fail. Growth opportunities seemed concentrated among a small group of favourites rather than based on merit. Strategic direction shifts constantly, and even senior leadership struggles to keep up. Employees who go above and beyond, regularly putting in extra hours and giving their best effort, are met with vague, demoralizing responses rather than constructive feedback. Comments like "this isn't good enough" or "this is terrible" are delivered without any guidance on what improvement actually looks like. It creates an environment where people can't grow because they're never told how to. The culture deteriorated quickly. Despite rhetoric about valuing employees, the reality is that people are treated as interchangeable and disposable. There's little genuine investment in employee development or wellbeing. The disrespect goes beyond being ignored or undervalued, employees are subjected to snide remarks and condescending behaviour from leadership, including visible reactions like eye rolls or dismissive expressions while someone is speaking. It is demoralizing and unprofessional. The turnover is constant and seemingly without cause, leaving most employees in a state of anxiety about their job security on a day-to-day basis. It feels less like performance-based decisions and more like a revolving door, letting people go simply to bring in fresh faces. The only employees who seem unbothered are those within the inner circle of favourites, and unsurprisingly, they tend to be the ones staying put while everyone else is quietly looking for a way out. I'd only recommend this company to someone looking for short-term income with no long-term expectations. If you're seeking a place where you can grow, feel valued, or build a career, look elsewhere.
