Very fun work environment, extreme challenges being solved routinely. Very nice office and surrounding area. For young engineers Cardica offers a tremendous amount of responsibility as well as opportunities to implement various technologies out.

Because of the challenges, there is a large amount of work to do and maintining a work/life balance can be challenging without discipline. Senior managers travel a lot, and commute from outside the bay area. Although they make themselves available, this can make things challenging.
