Be prepared to do more than you thought possible. The rule of the game at Cascades is get more out of management to reduce hourly costs all in the guise of culture. For example they run there plants 24hrs a day, but don’t believe in having shift supervision. There is little to no training or professional development, pay is low for industry standards, and senior management is so focused on profits NEEDED repairs and upgrades to equipment and buildings are often put off until a failure occurs.
