typical mid level bureaucracy in some areas about any programs coming out of HR most HR recognition programs are silly and unrewarding for most, not team focused HR needs to recognize that people come to work for the money and benefits - not to be treated like children lots of people still getting paid that do almost nothing but talk about what they do because HR makes it too hard for supervisors to give honest, fair, low evaluations - this is really discouraging and unfair to the hard workers less vacation days than many competitor companies almost no stock reward programs (options) for anyone not in mid/upper management -- shows other skills aren't really recognized/appreciated
