      Co-workers were nice and seemed to care about their work

      Tech was old. Old .NET, old processes, not forward-thinking mindset. Pay is equally unremarkable. Management was often not upfront with those under them, whether it is about your career journey, or the health of the company. There was a cynical, one-way "we're a family" attitude.
