Vantaggi
The benefits are great and the training available is good. It's a decent job if you are a people person. It's also a good start for a person without much schooling. No offense to anyone but if you have a degree this should only be considered a very short term stepping stone. The typical person they like in this role is very trainable (ie a blank slate).
Svantaggi
This is not a job for someone with any sense of self respect. This is a job for someone that graduated from McDonalds. The whole morning huddle concept is a joke. Irregular work hours. You are not allowed to think or have an opinion, you must stick to the script. Branch managers are nothing more than conduits of policy and fecal matter that roll down from upper management. Micro management culture. Pushy sales culture. Commission structure is constantly being revised which means harder work for less money. Inept and unqualified managers that may know company policy extremely well but have no people skills or critical thinking ability. This goes back to what I said about Chase liking blank slates.
