Management has no clue how a restaurant should run. Management is constantly trying to micromanage something as simple as when employees can use the rest room. People are expected to do the work positions they don't get paid for and management will intentionally delay promotions (and especially pay raises) to keep you working jobs they don't pay you for.

Management does not really care. Sits in office and rarely helps. This does depend on the manager which affects the staff. Imagine working at minimum effort is the acceptable norm and a upper manager comes in complaining that things are wrong and does not fit standard
