Vantaggi
To be part of a team, culinary skill growth (knife skills, etc), if you are willing to learn you will be pushed to grow and become better, likelihood of transitioning to management if you are skilled/work long enough, free meal per shift, possible yearly tuition reimbursement or longer term employees, free uniforms, potential to learn different positions, tips, lots of physical activity, etc. For the level of pay, Chipotle is an incredibly thoughtful and well structured company on the store level with better values and intentions than most.
Svantaggi
Lots of effort for minimal pay, understaffed at times which can leave you in a position of leaving your team in the lurch or working a double shift, almost impossibly high expectations of skill and speed to reach for the level of pay, unable to cash out used sick days (MA) or accumulate more if you reach the cap without being sick or claiming to be (either case will slightly screw your team for that shift as well, which sucks if you care about the well being of the team as a whole), at my location there were times when the need for skilled staff was so great that those who were skilled were called upon to work as much as they'd like or to be (optionally) called in on your days off when the team was understaffed, which can affect work life balance.
