- ENDLESS meetings. Back-to-back-to-back...Think 8 solid hours starting at 6 AM. - It's great that so many of the employees have the flexibility to be remote. However, I noticed that it has meant many employees are dis-engaged, going thru the motions. - Count on the annual re-org happening -- which means annual layoffs - I personally have worked at Cisco for more than 15 years and got let go. Cisco may say they want you to retire there, which I was convinced I would...I was so loyal to that company, then suddenly got let go. It was pretty brutal to say the least. I essentially got kicked out of the family. - There's "juniorization" of the workforce going on here. They are trying to bring down the average age so if you are 23, good for you. If you are 38 or above, chances are it will be difficult for you to make your case. Millennials seem to hold a lot of importance at this company. Experience is no longer prime currency - Changes going on in leadership and the way work gets done is highly, highly distracting. - Employee morale is extremely low
