Lack of innovation, arrogance when it comes to what customers want vs what thet R&D teams want to develop, huge growth of middle and upper management from other companies has ruined the once unique Cisco culture - making it just another big company. Continual empire-building with teams trying to rip off other teams. Lack of focus on the product. Lack of true leadership in the executive ranks at VP-Director level, especially in the Customer Advocacy/Service Provider LOB, where the execs seem more interested in 'going along to get along' rather than providing true vision or leadership. Some current cost-cutting measures have done nothing more than pass along Cisco's cost of doing business to their employees. Chambers has become very quiet and hands-off - I wonder what he thinks of what Cisco has become?
