Vantaggi
As a contract employee which almost everyone is, you are supposed to have a flexible schedule. If you work this out during your hiring process and they respect you, you can have the schedule that you want.
Svantaggi
Everything. The work environment is awful. This is an "open office" that does not allow coworkers to utilize or take advantage of the very reasons behind an open office. Coworkers are not allowed to speak to each other or ask each other questions. As an intern, I was given multiple projects of my own, which was great, however I was left to fend for myself after not being allowed to ask questions or even learn the office standards that are not published anywhere or even adhered to. Also, there is no fair compensation. As a contract worker, you are supposed to be paid over and above what a normal employee with full benefits would be paid. At Cisneros, they will pay you far under the typical hourly or salary rate even while not offering benefits or paid time off. Upon hiring, they will inform you that the contract probation period is 3 months, but this is a lie. There are exemplary employees in that office that have been there for 3 years now requesting to be a full time employee and being told, "just a few more months, we just can't afford it right now." The principal architect is a "used car salesman" rather than an architect. He does not even review drawings, he just stamps them. This employer seeks out workers who have a hard time finding work in this country because they have recently immigrated here and exploits them. Steer clear!
