Risposta di Citco
9yWow, where does one begin to respond to such an unhappy review? While I respect your viewpoint, I think it’s important to try to strike a bit more balance with my response to represent the other hardworking and committed employees in your office – many of whom would have a different point of view.
Citco is indeed a dynamic and busy work environment – perhaps that may seem a bit chaotic at times to junior staff – to others it can be exciting, challenging and rewarding. No one here would ever present our firm or any other we know or have worked at - as “perfect”. Over the years we have made many improvements to business and HR processes as well as systems – and as other firms do – we’ll continue to drive these efforts. Yet it must be noted that Citco has been a great training ground for countless professional over the decades – not only at the start of their careers – but in the middle and at the top – as evidenced by the many senior managers and MD’s who have grown their career at Citco. Their development has been shaped by our formal and informal training programs and opportunities. Ambitious employees also take accountability for their own development – by utilizing our education programs which provide financial support to help them get their designations, or seeking out mentors, or raising their hands for projects and assignments.
True – Citco culture and environment may not be for everyone – and it seems that perhaps at this point in your career it may no longer be the place for you. You’re right – it’s important to know in your career when it is time to move on.
