9yDear Anonymous - Thanks for taking the time to share your views and starting on a positive note to highlight our comprehensive benefit and time off policies. Like most financial services firms, different departments at Citco have busy periods during the month and at certain periods in the year to meet our client needs. For example, our Financial Statements team in Malvern is just stepping into it's crunch period and there will be very little flexibility during the next couple of months to meet the demands of the workload and critical deadlines. This is something local HR and Talent Acquisition take great efforts to communicate during our recruitment process and which most financial professionals would understood to be "part of the job". However you cite our generous time off and summer flex policies. Those are in place exactly to counter balance the crunch periods. In regards to promotion practices - Malvern has routinely promoted numerous staff during their mid year process - and they are based on merit and performance - such that high performers of any tenure (not simply seniority) have advanced their careers in that location.
