The pay scale wasn't bad for a " teller" position. Paid well for off site training which included hourly wage plus mileage for time to and from the site.

Not enough staff to focus on sales so quarterly bonuses were very hard to hit. Commission based position so anyone with seniority takes offense to new person getting sales. Employee with seniority was allowed to verbally harass co-workers including management and management said to just "ignore" the abuse. Manager rarely assigned primary and secondary teller and banker positions so there was always a struggle to get off line work done while standing at the teller post. We were taught correct policies and procedures in training classes but were encouraged to "bend" the rules to get through the transaction quicker.
