FPS, of Christiansburg, has been a wonderful place for me to work and grow. I have been with the company many years and continue to stay for several reasons: honest work, meaningful work, great relationships with colleagues, decent pay (for the field), but most of all its family. I have a wonderful relationship with my supervisor and my team. If I am doing this kind of work, I want to work along side people who are also hard working, trustworthy and dedicated to making a difference. Wouldn't you?

There will always be cons to any employment, however, these are few and far between here. I didn't sign up to make a million bucks in the mental health field. I wish our pay was a little bit better, but in the grand scheme of things, working with people I care about and enjoying going to work everyday far out weighs all of that.

Pros-very relaxed with things like work hours. Remote employees can have your kids home with you as long as you get your work done.

Svantaggi

Unrealistic productivity expectations, too many leadership changes, too many team meetings that are a waste of time.
