Vantaggi

Healthy financial profile and overall conservative management. Competitive salary and benefits.

Svantaggi

Poor and unprofessional leadership at the Atlanta office's Telecommunications division. Female employees are given greater workloads in exchange for fewer pomotion considerations and, in some cases, personally harassment by local management. Moreover, female leaders in the Atlanta office are routinely mocked and disrespected by subordinates (starting rumors of drug use, etc.). Corporate Human Resources, located in Denver, is largely apathetic about female harassment and makes no earnest actions to remedy the unfair treatment and general disrespect of women in the Atlanta office. Perhaps this is why <25% of the workforce in the Atlanta office are women and < 20% are minorities. It's a white guy's club; if you're a professional woman or minority, look elsewhere.

Vantaggi

Financially speaking CoBank is a stable company. The yearly bonus payout is competitive,

Svantaggi

It's referred to as "CoBank nice" which is another way of saying it's a passive-aggressive culture. If you dislike endless meetings, this environment can be frustrating. Strong resistance to change at the leadership levels - despite claims of being focused on transformation, real progress is very limited. Extremely slow pace. Recent months have brought significant organizational and leadership changes, but very little acknowledgement about the impact those changes have on associates. PTO is definitely not competitive.
