I had to quite the store because of my position was eliminated. First of all, the district manager and store manager had already chosen who they keep and who they fire, and they gave different offers to each person. (I did not get a reasonable offer, and basically, forced to quite.) We all got more than 6 weeks notice, but no severances offered, even though I worked at the company for more than 5 years. At the end, the store manager also quite due to high stress circumstances. Company doesn't care about people but money. I was sad to leave the company that I used to love with this sour feeling.
