Nice people but not the best work environment - Recensione dipendente - Composite Technician III presso Coast Composites

The best part about this company are the people that work here. Production employees are skilled laborers meaning that they know their stuff. They are passionate about safety and take pride in their work. The feeling you get when you start working at Coast Composites is family. People work hard while working, yet there seems to be a great balance of home life as well. The type of work done at Coast Composites is very unique and has great potential for growth. You could work in the same job for years and still learn something new every day. However, there are many opportunities to move up or be trained in other positions. It’s common to meet people at work that have been with the company for 10, 20, or even 30 years in many different positions, which says a lot about the environment. Top management has shown to truly care about safety, not just say they do. Safety concerns are addressed immediately and all employees actively participate in the safety program.

Far to travel from my home.

Interesting place to work. New projects all the time. Always working on the newest aircraft or rocket that hasn't even come out yet. Small enough company that you get to be involved in a lot of things if you want to, but large enough that they have newer technologies and opportunities to grow and move within the company. Can learn a lot here very quickly.

Dynamic work environment means daily changes/challenges. Can be overwhelming sometimes. A lot of hours when it's busy. Cyclical business, so expect some slow times and some very crazy busy times.
