7yThank you for your feedback. We take this seriously as we have 18-year long track record of success and our people are fundamental to our company’s health. Our hours and best practices in management, training and oversight are core to the business and we strive every day to get better.
When employees are on-boarded, we assign a Mentor and Manager. Everyone has their own style of management and each new employee requires differing levels of oversight. It's a combination of process and art. It is an area we are constantly looking at and working to improve on.
We are currently looking at and reevaluating our PTO policy as since bringing a world class HRIS has given us data and tools to make this process consistent.
The telephone remains one of the key methods of contact for recruiters and we are committed to using every tool possible to reach candidates. Telephone calls are a way of life in this business. In the multi-modal communication environment we live in today and by virtue that we are reaching out to mostly passive candidates and sometimes unresponsive hiring managers, we need to leverage phone, email, text and now AI to engage these people. Reaching out to people you don't know could be uncomfortable for some and this type of job is not for everyone. These activities are necessary for success.
For the right person, this is a great launching pad for a career that can span decades or lead to something else that fits for them. The skills and training are valuable and transferable, your comment on some of the top recruiters that have left have done well… Yes, exactly, we couldn't agree more! Why? We have an amazing reputation among all the majors in tech for training some of the industry’s most productive professionals in Talent Acquisition. Our team helped develop their skill sets and experience to allow them to have continued success in their careers. It’s well-known spending 3-4 years at COIT gives you the clout of a 6-8 year professional. Simply put, we accelerate our employee’s careers.
It’s unfortunate it didn't work out for you here at COIT. As always, feel free to connect with me directly. We wish you all the best in your career.
