The patient population is affluent/snobby/insufferable, so they demand every medication and treatment bc of their 'status.' The amount of gossip and horrible things coworkers say about each other here is worse than middle school. I was constantly talked down to for being Mexican. The gossip and blame game for the most petty things run RAMPANT. The pay is so terrible. I wouldn't even recommend my worst enemy to work here. It was truly emotionally draining to work here. If you are fulltime and you stay for less than a year, they won't pay out your PTO. The sign on bonus is taxed. If you haven't worked at a free standing ER as a CT tech, I don't recommend, they will constantly treat you poorly for not having the experience.
