As long as you continue to stroke the right egos, your position is safe. I suppose this is a pro for some?

If you care about delivering quality and you like to follow leadership that has vision beyond the end of their nose, you will be frustrated beyond belief. If you have initiative to drive change you will be beaten down for upsetting the status quo. Salaries are not competitive and the benefits are weak and poorly managed.
