Throughout my working career with Comtech EF Data, management expected loyalty. But after 18 years of a loyal working relationship, I was laid off. All senior management staff except for one were eliminated. I suppose they had a golden parachute as a replacement to a pay check. I didn't. I knew when my boss was removed, it was a matter of time before I was let go. Oh ya, the severance pay after 18 years of employment...4 weeks.
