Conception was an amazing company to work for, let me break it down: coworkers were some of the best I’ve ever had, no micromanaging, you get to wear whatever you want to work, listen to whatever on headphones, they provide snacks and coffee, daily stretching and breathing, employees have genuine passion for cannabis industry, option to actually contribute to company and help it grow, concern for everyone’s well being. Conception pays above minimum wage for minimum wage work. They give you benefit options (instead of hiring people part time and avoiding it all together like most companies). If you have life events come up, they work around it with you. Management actually cares if you're upfront and honest with them. You get out of Conception what you put in. Conception is chill AF, people seemed to get comfy and take advantage and then act like the company is evil when they were reprimanded. Just show up and do your job and you’ll be more than fine. Ignore the negative reviews where everyone thinks they’re the center of the universe- for the type of work and the work environment, Conception goes above and beyond and I was sad to go.

Can be tedious work but that’s what you sign up for and they’re up front about it, so it is what it is. It’s a startup. Like any start up, it’s a business figuring out how to do business- has its ups and downs.
