The is my third job at a healthcare services startup and I've been here almost two years. Every startup is chaotic and fast moving. Everyone wears a few hats. Concerto has been no different. It's not for everyone. There's risk in working for a startup but there's also reward. I'm encouraged to make decisions and solve problems to improve the patient experience. I can see the impact of my work on our patients. Health plans are sending us as many patients as we can handle. We just signed another huge contract and have tens of thousands more patients. So while the stress and work is increasing so are the opportunities. And I heard we just turned profitable.

The startup environment is t for everybody. Also The culture here is still rebounding a bit after the layoff a year ago but we've grown over 300% since then. And they've tried to hire back a lot of the people that were let go. In spite of that some people are still bitter and choose to complain rather than refocus on the great work that we do. We're a fast growing startup and everyone works very hard, so there will probably be more employee turnover as we grow but that might be ok.
