Rewards external talent over internal talent A lot of busy people travelling doing not much work waiting for their four years to pass. Too many Directors, not enough people doing the core work Too quick to change strategy in a complex product category if there's a slight falter in sales - complex product and new category requires more longevity for a new audience Not enough focus on brand Definitely a 'favourites' culture - people recruiting their crew. Happens everywhere but seemed particularly prevalent a few years ago
