I met some wonderful carers and clients at Connected Health overall loved my job management ruined that for me by not caring for staff and shockingly for service users needs. Only for Area manger and coordinator I would not have stayed as long as I did

Management do not care about the welfare of their staff , even after being exposed to Covid they expected me to return to work. They will happily overwork you and send you all the place , During my time as a supervisor I was a glorified carer who was covering sick calls and dealing with mistakes made by carers and coordinators . When I approached HR she decided to point out all my flaws and brought in team lead for good measure did not have access to computer to do my admin repeatedly asked management to address this never happened then happily asked why my admin was not done

- The main staff on ground who aid the service users are generally nice and helpful. - Most service users are very enjoyable to help and speak with.

- The management is extraordinarily terrible at managing anything. There is absolutely no communication between management and on ground staff. Our demands go through one ear and right out the other, so nothing ever improves. In fact, I’d say it gets worse. - No mileage pay given equals us having to fork out extra money just to try to continue working for this company. - Instead of trying to make the runs easier, management decides the best course of action is to change the runs by their standards and never ever ask the on ground staff what they think. Then ultimately, it leads to both the staff and the service users unhappy. - Ridiculous work loads and times, constantly getting new clients in but hardly any new staff in. Most staff don’t get a break after working 8-10 hours, sometimes even more.
