Connection is well established and obviously have a good business model. My manager + director were both really awesome. I was allowed to work independently, no micromanagement.

PAY - Base pay is one of the lowest I've seen in tech sales. I had no choice but to pick up contract work while working for Connection. It's hard to stay motivated to do your job to the best of your ability when you have to worry about paying bills. This also was my first time working for an IT reseller, the commission pay structure is horrible. You could sell upwards 100,000 and receive little to nothing in commission. Opportunity - This opportunity does provide ton of support but you will rely heavily on the current climate/ financial standing of our economy. It takes a lot of luck and lot of opportunity. Business - There are a ton of moving parts when working for an IT reseller. The products are endless which means the meetings are endless. There is always something new to learn which can be overwhelming when your main focus is trying to connect with potential customers.
