We are very up front with how the bonus structure and pay works... if you perform well, you will make a lot of money. If you do not perform... you will not make money! So it all centers on your performance.
If you do not achieve your floor target (which is usually 50% to Goal) then you will not be paid. Goal is based off how the store has performed over the last 122 months and is very straightforward. If you cannot do 50% of what the store has done over the last 12 months, you will not make the money you want!
I would love to have an open dialogue about what you can control but your earning potential is in your hands more than it is in ours... just see the other responses on here.
