5yThere has to be a level of ownership from people that lead their direct employees (YOU) to help them get to where they want to be in performance as well as to raise your hand and communicate that you need help. In both cases it seems like you failed your employees and that is why they quit. Many of our employees make amazing commission and have great times as you can see from their comments on this site. It seems like the items controllable by you are where things fell off. If you have true concerns you would like to address, we are here to listen but expecting a senior leader to 100% prepare YOUR employees on how they can succeed is never realistic. Hopefully you have success with that where you ended up.
The award trip is a great time for all employees and is not an “either or” in regards to compensation. The people that perform and work hard love the compensation plan. The people that sit back and wait (or hope for others to manager their employees), do not. You get out what you put in from everything you do.
I really hope you find your happy place.
