Vantaggi

As a PC Manager there is very few jobs that afford freedom. This is a company that gives you that; freedom of choice, freedom to run the business, freedom to fail or succeed. The profit share model that CED utilizes is an incentive to succeed. The trainee program that I went through gives an opportunity to people from all backgrounds. Good company, lots of opportunity to grow. We also generally don't work on weekends and I cannot explain to you how great it is to have the weekends off.

Svantaggi

The same can be said about the profit share model for unsuccessful locations. If a place is not successful in making profit for the year than you could end up with not much to show. A lot of CED hinges on management, good managers could cause a PC to rise or fall, I believe there are far more good manager than bad but there are bad out there as in any company. Unfortunately the thing that makes it a boon could make just as much a bust in the eyes of employees.

Vantaggi

Very nice coworkers and you get to travel a good amount in your first year. Guided training process wasn’t bad

Svantaggi

Low pay and long hours. The contract they’ll have you sign in misleading on salary. You’re basically going to be a hourly employee your first 2/3 years and more likely than not are not going to be making the amount on the contract unless you do a lot of overtime. There is a lot of corporate pressure on being able to move wherever they tell you to also. My best advice is to look at what your local managers lives are like and consider if they’re happy or not. You have to have a certain amount of being a loner in you to be ok with their outlandish moving expectations.
