Vantaggi

Hands-off corporate structure I feel like my own boss most of the time Stable Travel Challenging Fulfilling Great People You don't work weekends (most of the time) Livable wage Never boring, because there is always something to be done

Svantaggi

Manager holds most responsibility, which can be a negative if you disagree with a manager and their philosophies Company holds too much value in placement tests, which can be negative if you're not a good test taker If you're good at your job, sometimes others tend to expect you to do their's too Working with customers who are used to old-timers can be frustrating when you are much younger, but a harder worker than the old-timers Sometimes, you get the feeling that many people in this industry are computer illiterate, so you end up being their computer tech support as well as their product tech support The company can be very frugal because every dollar towards profit sharing counts If you are not willing to get dirty, or do back-breaking work when it is needed, this job is not for you

Vantaggi

Very nice coworkers and you get to travel a good amount in your first year. Guided training process wasn’t bad

Svantaggi

Low pay and long hours. The contract they’ll have you sign in misleading on salary. You’re basically going to be a hourly employee your first 2/3 years and more likely than not are not going to be making the amount on the contract unless you do a lot of overtime. There is a lot of corporate pressure on being able to move wherever they tell you to also. My best advice is to look at what your local managers lives are like and consider if they’re happy or not. You have to have a certain amount of being a loner in you to be ok with their outlandish moving expectations.
