      Management has a habit of lying to employees. The work they are doing is more or less SaaS rather than product development. Cofounders are confused and often will project their frustration on the employees for their lack of planning and execution. They want everyone to work to the bone with no work life balance. Quite racially biased on some level.

      Sorry to hear about your experience. Product development and SaaS are not mutually exclusive. It's part of company's business model to deliver software products as services (hence SaaS). This requires adherence to certain critical sofware metrics and SLA requirements. We can appreciate that you found the environment here challenging. The nature of a startup like ours can be difficult for some. As a startup, we sometimes need to pivot to meet the emerging market needs. It is a requirement for company success.
