Vantaggi

There were some opportunities for moving up and some decent benefits. Many of the employees of Copart yards in certain departments were happy with their jobs and rarely had major complaints outside of the busy seasons or during catastrophes. In most locations, staff is incredibly friendly and work well as a team.

Svantaggi

The company is reckless and unreliable and cannot handle growth. Management is poorly trained and unsupported by upper management. The pay was also below industry standards with their call center position's starting wage being roughly $13-14/hr; this has since been corrected to closer reflect the current industry pay, but last I knew, it was still low at $16/hr. Copart's sudden decision to close their Title Procurement offices cost hundreds their jobs, as well as Copart's shiny reputation for putting employees first. Because of the nature of the salvage industry, hours for various entry-level positions will radically fluctuate; when it's hurricane season or major catastrophe's/weather phenomenon happen, it's expected you will be working 12 hour shifts indefinitely, sometimes even six to seven days a week.
