Copesan is a great place to work! The company provides great benefits and competitive wages. The organization has a family type feel and senior management is very accessible. The President is a dynamic leader with lots of energy. She makes a sincere effort to connect with employees at all levels.

Copesan runs rather lean and is a fast paced environment which provides plenty of growth and development challenges.

the size of the organization(North American) and target markets that they are recognized in and by(food processing and distribution) are both attributes of this company and benefits of working for them

the cons are many. Copesan has never had any real marketing. The term "business development" is not even remotely on the radar at Copesan. Unfortunately Copesan is owned by - and owing to - a group of smaller companies who all are intersted in taking profit off the top and the entire Copesan staff and home office departments are supported via revenue earned by one of the small companies. The small company who supports Copesna- WiL-Kil is just a shell. Al in all, this is a poorly conceived and poorly run organization where if you do not have "the dirt" on someone in a higher up position and you do not live in Wisconsin(home office) you are going to get screwed. Employees have their accounts pilfered accounts, commissions are not paid per policy and politics is rampant. Stay away from this company.
