Everything! Poor work environment. They teach you in training to be a snitch on other staff and boy do people snitch and back stab other staff in attempts to make them self's look good. To promote or get decent post's you have to kiss up to supervisors. Very clicky environment if you are in the supervisors little circle of pet's you are fine. Supervisors are very unprofessional and talk about staff to other staff. ADO staff are a complete joke dirty and crooked.Core Civic is a for profit prison so it is all about money security is job none. You will end up working a ton of hours so forget about having a home life. Mandated to work overtime almost every day of the week. then if you fall a sleep on a post you are fired. They micromanage your every move and spend all day everyday reviewing cameras watching every move you make. You always feel like a target under extreme scrutiny because they will hire anyone so they know they have to watch everyone. You work with a lot of people that have no business being in a prison to begin with. Crappy benefits, no retirement just a 401K.

CC Uses cutting-edge Technologies, which is good experience for resume building; many of the Teams are collaborative; interesting work and you can believe in company goals.

Director and Manager level mgmt at corporate here do not provide guidance on projects. There is a lot of turnover on data projects because new employees are thrown into the deep end and then just blamed if results are not as expected. CC really needs more hands-on project oversight. There are also behavioral and anger issues with a couple long-time ppl as well, and this is both exhausting and (sometimes) outright humiliating. They need to treat new people better.
