No pay raise for 3 years. The mailroom is the only department that hasn't had a raise in 6 years. So don't expect one. Mailroom work is hard, can never complete it as they refuse to hire another needed hand. The clerk is expected to do 99% of the work including the mailroom supervisor's job. Inmates have direct access to you. There is no hazard pay. Insurance change is crap. If the supervisor is sick the clerk is expected to do supervisor level work without compensation. THERE IS NO COMPENSATION for extra work. They denied my PTO after approving it the day before. Because they refuse to hire another clerk. You are blamed for any emergency that forces you to miss work-Bad weather, illness, etc. They will use 1 hr PTO if your 15 minutes late. They tell you to use your PTO or lose it, then not let you use it because there's no one to cover for you if you're the ONLY CLERK.

Director and Manager level mgmt at corporate here do not provide guidance on projects. There is a lot of turnover on data projects because new employees are thrown into the deep end and then just blamed if results are not as expected. CC really needs more hands-on project oversight. There are also behavioral and anger issues with a couple long-time ppl as well, and this is both exhausting and (sometimes) outright humiliating. They need to treat new people better.
